I got the starter holding page done for mainedition. Go see what you think. This is the navigation bar that I have worked on for days. It was originally for my writing site, and I got lazy and used it for the holder at mainedition. I really want something more streamlined but this works in a pinch. I had a wee bit of trouble getting my scripts in the right folder, but I figured it out. I looked at the source for php and have decided that it doesn't look that intimidating. It will take me some time before I figure out exactly where the (tags?) go and what they do, but it's not near as scary looking as I thought it would be. I have a ton of stuff to do...at home and on the computer. The computer stuff needs to be put on hold, but it's usually the house that gets put on hold.. ;D And before I forget to post the link: www.mainedition.comNo I am still not real sure what to do with the site, but I think the ebook idea will be a big part of it. P.S. I may have the starter page changed again before you check it...depending whether or not I do housework or site work..LOL..

Oh piss, lol... forgot to log in. Oh well, dernit. Hey - was gonna tell you before, then I spaced it off - you've got an automatic pop-up being generated by the nav bar. It's something like: Get your free nav bar, yadda, yadda. You can probably remove this from the code and not effect the way the bar works at all. If I get a chance I'll look at your source code and see how they have it embedded.
It looks great though! ;D

And people think I have multiple personalities...LOL You are so gonna confuse the newbies with all your aliases.. I noticed that too. Will figure it out later. Hopefully other people know to hit the X instead of the OK button....LOL

Get rid of this and see what happens:
<!--** START NAVSTUDIO MENU TAGS (996490) **-->
Then remove this and see what happens:
<div id="vqp_about" style="position:absolute;visibility:hidden;">****JavaScript based drop down DHTML menu generated by NavStudio. (OpenCube Inc. - http://www.opencube.com)****</div>
If it messes up the bar, put it back, but this may stop the pop-up. If not - the code is hidden from me, you'll have to go in and look closely at everything that starts with the word "onload". Remove one element at a time, until you get the pop-up. It's set for "onload" - this I'm sure of, I just don't know how it's tagged or embedded. Might even be a string of numbers like "onload)ID455679"
