I've told this story before, but it's so funny, it's worth a re-tell. I use to work for the Forrester Davis Center with 2 and 3 year olds. One day a couple other Teachers and I took our groups out to the play yard. I was distracted, helping one tie a shoe, and didn't even see a child from another group picking up rocks and hurling them straight up in the air. Nor did I actually see the one that came down and bonked one of my kids smack in the center of the forehead. All I heard and saw was this poor little child named Seth holding his head, bawling, and looking up at the sky. I ran to him and ask him, "Baby - what happened? Why you crying? Let me see." He's slinging snot and just a bawlin' - pointing up at the sky. "Rock hit me in da heeeeead, rit dere." Pointing to a knot forming on his forehead with one hand and the sky with the other. Who hit you with a rock baby? Looking up, just as serious as he could be ... "God" LMAO So, I guess if you ask Seth where God is - he'd tell you he's up above - and advise you to DUCK! ;D ~Ang
