Ever had to give a shower or anniversary party and have lots of guests on diets, or restricted sugar? There are several off the shelf alternatives, sugar free drinks, and low sugar natural fruit juices. But it's hard to make a very good (or fancy looking) punch from those. Here's something you can do:
1 package of Crystal Light Orange Tangerine drink 1/2 package of lime Kool Aid 2 - 2 liter bottles of Diet Sprite 1/2 tsp. Splenda sweetener 1/2 gallon sugar free (tri-colored) Sherbet Fruits optional: sliced oranges sliced lemons sliced limes
Pour all the drink mix, Kool Aid, Splenda and Sprite together, stir well. You should end up with a really cool green colored mixture. Pour in a punch bowl, scoop in sherbet balls with an ice cream scoop. Line the rim of the bowl with the fruit slices instead of punch cups.
Tip: Taste this - I like strong flavors, so if it seems a bit too tangy, you can dilute it with water to taste. But keep in mind, the sherbet will melt fairly quickly, and tone the flavors down too.
